Year 5 - Enginuity Visit - Spring 2024
The children visited the Enginuity museum in Ironbridge, during this visit they were able to learn all about how forces work on objects – specifically a moving vehicle.
They also learnt about how a motor works and had the opportunity to build their own vehicle with a working motor.
At the end of the session, the children were able to race their handcrafted vehicles – which they all thoroughly enjoyed.
As we were walking through the museum, the children were able to see different aspects of manufacturing through the years.
The children all worked in small teams and each and every team worked together collaboratively to make the fastest and most effective vehicle they could.
