William Reynolds Primary School and Nursery

On Friday 10^th November 2023, members of the school council visited Madeley War Memorial to pay their respects to those lost to war. The children felt privileged to have represented their school to lay the wreath of remembrance.

During our visit, the pupils met Councillor Helena Morgan, Mayor of Madeley Town Council, who was impressed by their wreath.

This is what the children said of the visit:

‘We went to Madeley War Memorial to observe a two-minute silence to remember all of the people who died in the wars.’’- Lemuel Amankwaah
